Colonel (Dr) JP Gupta, MD; his name is synonymous with Raphael’s TB hospital. He has been at the forefront of Raphael’s TB Control Programme since 1989. He finally called it a day on 31 March 2020, at the age of 88 years, after 31 years of dedicated service.

He was given a well-deserved farewell in November 20. He also inaugurated the freshly renovated TB hospital that had been his home all these years.

We will miss him and wish him a well-earned retirement.
