On the last day of Pride Month: a month dedicated to the upliftment of LGBTQIA+ voices, celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture and the support of LGBTQIA+ rights, Dr. Sakshi Mamgain, founder of UTH - hosted a session at Raphael Ryder Cheshire International on 'Celebrating Gender and Sexuality: Embracing Diversity in Special Education’. During the session, she talked about how preconceived notions about the LGBTQIA+ community are harmful to people. Drawing analogues between the life of queer people and struggles cisgender heterosexuals also face caused by the society, she duly made the attendees feel the need of such discussions in all spaces.
